My wife and I are so grateful that we happened upon this company quite by chance. When one's house is flooded, panic mode sets in. What do I do? Who do I phone? What I learned from an adjuster is that the big name water mitigation companies, with multiple locations, follow storms like weathermen. They will come from hundreds of miles away, give you a quick and dirty resolution and leave town and maybe your state. You have problems with their "fix"? You will never see them again. We thank God that we wound up contracting with this local company with high ethical standards and expertise. There is a reason why they have five star ratings across the board. Look no further!

We had such a great experience working with Bryan at A+ Restoration and Cleaning. We learned we had mold in our home and needed to have it remediated. Bryan was always responsive, patient, and helped walk us through the entire process. We were so pleased with how promptly they addressed our issue and took care of following up on everything to assure that we could have our home certified by a mold assessor with "good air quality" once again. We can't thank Bryan and A+ Restoration and Cleaning enough for the great job that they did!

I cannot say enough good things about this company and these people!!!! We just bought our first home where mold was covered up and I had been sick for over a month. Elizabeth quickly came out to our house, did a moisture test on the walls and an air test to see what we had. Elizabeth is seriously amazing. She looped her manager in, Bryan, right away who showed me so much compassion and support. They provided me the results read out so fast and found out it was a toxic mold. Bryan came back the next week and took care of the demo to remove mold ( it had unfortunately come to that point) and did the dry fog for our entire home. Bryan was extremely thorough, empathetic, responsive answered my first call. If you have a mold issue, treat it seriously and go to this company!

I highly recommend and I'm so very impressed with the carpet cleaning services. On time, the amount I was requested to pay what was exactly the quote that was given. My carpets look fabulous in spite of having 2 doggies. Request DAVEN BEAUMONT. This professional gets the job done right and he is friendly too! 100% happy and will be a recruiting customer in the future!

The carpet looks great. Chris, the cleaner, could have a better attitude. He seemed mad and complained about me smoking the minute he walked through the door. But again, the service was great and that's really what matters.

Why Quick Action Against Black Mold Is Critical

Once black mold finds moisture, it spreads fast, creeping through drywall seams, flooring, and insulation. That’s why our black mold removal company in Destin, FL knows that a black mold call is an urgent call.

  • Protect Your Property

Left unchecked, black mold can compromise the very structure of your home. Spores dig deep into drywall, wood beams, and sub-flooring, forcing costly tear-outs later. Our dry-fog technology attacks colonies at the source while keeping your home intact. No destruction, no hassle, no mess — and often up to 50% less than traditional mold removal methods.

  • safeguard your family’s health

Black mold is toxic. Breathing in mycotoxins can cause symptoms like coughing, skin irritation, fatigue, and even more serious health issues over time. By acting quickly with our black mold removal service in Destin, FL, you reduce exposure and protect your family.

  • Eliminate Hidden Mold and Odors

What you see on the wall is often just the beginning. Behind it, spores may already be spreading through HVAC ducts, crawl spaces, or under flooring. Our dry-fog system penetrates deep into those hidden spaces, scrubbing out mold and removing that stale, musty odor for good. The result is a clean environment delivered by the black mold removal contractor Destin homeowners trust.

What to Expect From Our Black Mold Removal Process

From the first call to final inspection, our process is built for speed, accuracy, and minimal mess.

  • Prompt Response & Next Steps

When you contact us, we don’t waste time. You’ll get a quick call-back with immediate tips like closing off the space and turning off the HVAC to stop spores from spreading.

  • Comprehensive Inspection

Using moisture meters and inspection cameras, we check behind walls, under floors, and inside vents.

  • Dry-Fog Technology

Our signature method floods contaminated areas with a fine, EPA-approved fog that penetrates tiny gaps in drywall and flooring.

  • Removal of UNUSABLE Materials

We only remove what absolutely must go. Less demo means a faster turnaround and less expense.

  • HEPA Filtration and Safe Cleanup

While our treatment eliminates spores at the source, our HEPA filtration captures what’s airborne. Contaminated debris is bagged, sealed, and hauled while meeting strict EPA disposal standards.

  • Satisfaction Guarantee

We always follow up with a moisture reading and visual inspection. Still smell something? Notice a spot we missed? Let us know. If you’re not satisfied, neither are we…we’ll make it right.

Don’t Give Black Mold a Head Start

In Destin, humid climate, it doesn’t take long for black mold to dig in. A little moisture is all it needs. Within 24 hours, spores can anchor into drywall seams, baseboards, and attic insulation. Wait too long, and you could be dealing with warped trim, damaged furniture, or even respiratory issues. That’s why our black mold removal company in Destin, FL takes every call seriously. We’re quick to respond, fast to treat, and careful to preserve your home.

Frequently Asked Questions About Black Mold Removal in Destin, FL

Every black mold job is unique, and the timeline depends on how far the growth has spread. A small area, like light spotting on a bathroom ceiling, can usually be treated, dried, and cleared the same day. A larger problem like mold that’s been building in a damp basement or spreading behind furniture may take 2–3 days of dry-fogging, moisture control, and post-treatment air testing. Severe infestations, especially those that have crept behind walls or into multiple rooms, can extend up to a week, particularly if repairs are needed afterward.

No matter the size of the problem, your black mold removal contractor in Destin, FL will give you a clear, written timeline before starting. And because our name means trust, if you’re not satisfied with any step, we’ll make it right — guaranteed.

It’s tempting to reach for bleach, vinegar sprays, or a dehumidifier, but those “quick fixes” don’t eliminate black mold. Spores root into drywall paper, subflooring, and hidden crevices, meaning that if even a trace remains, it will come roaring back. Trusting a professional makes the difference. With A+ Restoration and Cleaning, you get a certified black mold removal contractor in Destin, FL who uses commercial-grade dry-fog technology, advanced imaging tools to detect hidden moisture, and years of expertise treating mold infestations.

In many cases, yes. But it depends on the source. If black mold develops after a sudden, covered event like a burst pipe or storm-driven roof leak, many homeowner’s policies include some form of protection. What’s not usually covered are infestations caused by long-term humidity or issues that weren’t addressed promptly. Because every policy reads differently, it’s worth checking for a “fungus/mold” clause or endorsement in your paperwork.

At A+ Restoration and Cleaning, we help simplify the process. Our office team photographs the damage, creates detailed moisture maps, and provides documentation your adjuster can use to review the claim. While we can’t guarantee approval, we can guarantee you’ll have all of the evidence for your case.
